Oldest Lido restored to its former glory

Cleveland Lido, Bath, is Britain's oldest lido and has been restored to its former glory after 17 years of tireless campaigning, fundraising and meticulous planning by Cleveland Pool Trust. We supplied our blue Forest Pennant sandstone paving, pool copings and steps to Rowland Stone Masonry as part of the £9.3 million restoration, with £6.47m coming from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Donald Insall Associates were the lead designers of the project with Hydrock carrying out structural design. This community lido re-opened at the end of 2022
